In 1987, I began digitizing for a cap manufacturer and embroidery company which eventually sold and moved. During the five years I worked there, I digitized for many of the country music stars and businesses including some of the Branson Springs entertainment centers.
In 1993 I founded Digitizing & Design, aiming at digitizing for other embroidery companies and operating out of the bedroom of my rural 1840's antebellum home. People soon found out I had one embroidery head to try out the designs I digitized and began to ask me to order and embroider shirts, caps and jackets for them. I soon found I needed another embroidery head and before long could no longer work out of my home. I moved my office to a small building beside my home and soon added more embroidery heads to accomodate the ever growing customer base.
